About

A supplier that shows its paperwork.

American BioResearch Labs LLC supplies research-grade peptides to qualified researchers, with the source laboratory's certificate of analysis published on every product page.

Our story

Why we started.

American BioResearch Labs began with personal curiosity about peptide science. What started as reading the literature turned into something more deliberate once it became clear how little documentation most suppliers in this field actually publish.

Buyers were routinely asked to take purity and identity on trust. Certificates were promised rather than shown, and where they existed they were often generic rather than tied to anything you could check.

We thought that was the wrong way round. So we built the supplier we wanted to buy from: one that puts the analytical paperwork on the product page before you order, describes compounds by their pharmacology rather than by claims, and is straightforward about what it does and does not know.

What we do

Compounds, documented.

We supply synthetic research peptides and reference compounds to registered researchers. Every product page carries the certificate of analysis issued by the laboratory that tested the lot we received from our synthesis partner, published as a downloadable file.

We would rather show a researcher the analytical data than describe our standards in the abstract. The certificate is on the page before you buy, not promised after.

Our catalog is organised by research area rather than marketing category, because the people who use these compounds think in terms of receptor systems and pathways. Product pages describe mechanism and cite the literature. They do not describe outcomes in people, because these are not products for use in people.

How we work

Three commitments.

01

Documented

The source laboratory's certificate of analysis is published on every product page, available to download and keep with your records.

02

Traceable

We retain a sample from each lot we hold, so material can be re-examined against the certificate it shipped with.

03

Restricted

Pricing and ordering require a registered account and a qualified-researcher acknowledgment. Compound information stays open to everyone.

What we don't claim

The things we leave out.

Plenty of suppliers in this category advertise purity thresholds, accreditations and facility standards that a buyer cannot verify. We would rather be specific about what we can actually evidence.

We do not operate our own analytical laboratory. The certificates we publish are issued by the laboratories that tested the material at source, and we publish them as they were issued. We are in the process of appointing an independent laboratory to test our own lots directly, and we will say so plainly here when that is in place.

We do not state a blanket purity figure across the catalog. Each certificate reports what that analysis found, and that is the number that matters.

We do not describe what these compounds do in people. Outcomes in humans are outside what a research supplier should be describing, and outside what these products are sold for.
